Programs in Camp
In addition to supplying camp with tools and other supplies, the Quartermaster offers Welding and Woodworking merit badges, and allows scouts to check out mountain bikes.
At Scoutcraft, scouts can hone their outdoor skills and earn merit badges, including Camping, Cooking, Emergency Preparedness, Hiking, Wilderness Survival, Orienteering, Geocaching, Search and Rescue and Pioneering.
First Class Adventure (FCA) is designed to offer new scouts a broad experience, including working requirements toward the Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks, rifle shooting and archery, and a 5-mile hike.
At Handicraft, scouts can earn a variety of hands-on merit badges, including Leatherwork, Indian Lore, Basketry, Art and Woodcarving.
At Field Sports, scouts can safely and responsibly enjoy rifle and shotgun shooting and archery. Rifle and Archery free shoot and troop activities are available to all scouts at no cost.
NoBeBoSco offers a variety of swimming and boating programs on Sand Pond. NoBe's pristine, idyllic waterfront is fun for all ability levels.
Scouts can earn a wide variety of badges at Nature, or they can just visit the lodge to learn about some of the local wildlife in the Kittatinny Mountains.
