Field Sports Programs

At Field Sports, scouts can safely and responsibly enjoy rifle and shotgun shooting and archery.

Merit Badges

At Field Sports, you can take the following merit badges:

  • Rifle Shooting
  • Archery
  • Shotgun Shooting

Scouts taking Rifle Shooting or Archery are highly encouraged to leave free shooting time open in their schedules to practice.

Free Shoot and Troop Activities

The range is open for free shoot at the following times:

  • Rifle Shooting: 9-10am, 3-4pm
  • Archery: 11-12am, 2-3pm, 4-5pm

There is no fee for free shoot. 

Troops can reserve blocks of range time on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for both rifle shooting and archery on a first-come, first serve basis.

 

Since 1927, No-Be-Bo-Sco has served thousands of Boy Scouts and their troops. Set on 380 acres in New Jersey's Kittatinny Mountains, No-Be-Bo-Sco's idyllic landscape offers troops an opportunity to experience Scouting in a way that has changed very little since the early days of scout camp.
