Mandatory Training - Finish Before you Arrive In Camp

As in past years, all staff this year will be required to complete 3 online trainings  prior to arriving at camp.  Each course will produce a certificate of completion,  which you will need to turn in when you arrive at camp.

If you have already completed the training previously, please print out a copy of the  certificate, and mail it in with your contract.

Remember: the Internet connection at camp is not good enough for you to take these  courses there.

Course #1Unlawful Harassment Prevention Training. (60 minutes)   - Link

Instructions: Create a new account for the training - if you are a director - take the “supervisor” course, if you are not, take the “employee” course. The council should be “Northern New Jersey 333”.

Courses #2  - Youth Protection (1 - 2 Hours)

ALL STAFF MUST TAKE THE NEW YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

Your completion date must be between 3-13-19 and before 6-17-20.

This takes more time now, and you must click through - plan some time to take it.

You will need to log into the my.scouting.org website to complete the training, so it is properly recorded to your BSA membership ID.  Contact your Scoutmaster if you need this number. If you are only registered with the camp crew – please contact Marc.

Course #3 - Hazardous Weather Training (25 to 35 minutes)

This is also completed on my.scouting.org.  You will need to create an  account using your membership ID – this is found on the BSA card from your troop. Contact your Scoutmaster if you need this number. If you are only registered with the camp crew – please contact Marc.
